Disney’s Animal Kingdom—Rivers of Light

Disney enlisted Michael as production designer for the first nighttime offering in the Animal Kingdom Park. Several rivers flow into a center lagoon, where dozens of autonomous effects barges gather among laser and water screen projections. The show uses never-before-seen technologies to honor animals and Disney Nature.
