Michael Curry Design

For 35 years, Michael Curry Design has been a leader in entertainment and attractions around the world, creating some of the most iconic forms of puppetry, set design, and spectacle. Our in-house design and production teams are made up of over 50 highly specialized artists, designers, technical consultants, and fabricators. This award-winning multidisciplinary team is sought out by the world’s foremost entertainment companies, including The Walt Disney Company, Universal, Wynn Resorts, Metropolitan Opera, Cirque du Soleil, as well as Olympic and Super Bowl Ceremonies.

Concept Development & Design

Because our design and fabrication teams work at the same facility, our entire creative process is streamlined and unique in the industry. Linking high concept development and entertainment programming throughout the production process makes MCD a global leader. We are well known for providing a fresh but informed viewpoint, putting imagination first in all of our projects. Our team of analog and digital artists work together to realize each client’s individual needs from the very beginning.

Prototyping & Production

After the design process, our team of fabricators continue refining and realizing the project. We focus on techniques and materials that enhance the performance of each element. Testing and adjusting occurs throughout the entire fabrication period, resulting in a well-considered, durable, and beautiful product.

Programming & Performance

MCD supports the client completely. We offer performer training, maintenance, and ongoing onstage and offstage support. Our general theatrical knowledge is the result of years of experience and is highly valued across the industry.
